NOT FOR SALE Inaugural Gala

On October 11, 2012, Not For Sale held their Inaugural Gala at the Tribeca Rooftop in New York City to support their efforts in ending human trafficking and slavery across the globe. Silhouette Group joined forces with Not For Sale to produce the Gala and organized the event's cocktail reception, silent and live auction, fashion show, musical performances, and dinner.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted by an orange "red carpet," Not For Sale's signature color. The orange carpet led guests to the outdoor rooftop penthouse where a cocktail reception and silent auction kicked off the evening and offered unparalleled views of the city.

Following the cocktail reception and silent auction, guests were escorted down a cascading staircase from the rooftop penthouse that brought them into the Old Hollywood themed Gala. Held in the main dining room, the theme was brought to life through exceptional attention to detail: tables adorned with enchanting feather centerpieces, a marquee above the stage displaying "Not For Sale" illuminated in large letters, and beautiful chandeliers embellished with light-catching crystals. As dinner was served, acclaimed auctioneer CK Swett kicked off the live auction. CK provided an exceptional experience for all with his engaging techniques and unique personality. Auction items ranged from one-of-a-kind Michael Raven jewelry to tea time with Sarah, the Duchess of York.

After dinner, All Saints Spitalfields and Not For Sale showcased their collaborative line created for the event through a fashion show that was orchestrated by Silhouette Group. Models walked down the cascading staircase to the entrancing live sounds of pianist Chloe Flower while wearing signature pieces from the collection. A performance from jazz star and actress Renee Olstead followed as she sang from atop the balcony of the cascading staircase captivating the audience below. Silhouette Group assembled a committee of 22 members to help ensure the vision of the Inaugural Gala became a reality. Collectively, Silhouette Group, Not For Sale and the committee members were able to pull items from countless vendors for both the live and silent auctions. Qui Tequila and Not For Sale's Rebbl Tea also joined the cause by creating a signature cocktail for the event.

Thanks to numerous volunteers, the committee, and the tireless efforts of Not For Sale, Silhouette Group was able to generate a successful and memorable event raising over $100,000 towards Not For Sale's mission. The evening also served to honor Latham & Watkins, a law firm that has dedicated countless hours of pro-bono work for Not For Sale. The firm was recognized and awarded plaques for its generous efforts.

Additionally, Silhouette Group designed all print collateral for the event, which included the invitation announcing the Gala, the dinner programs given to guests upon arrival, and thank you cards provided within each gift bag, all of which were in line with the Old Hollywood theme.

Attendees included Sarah, The Duchess of York; Jeannie Mai, host of the Style Network's How Do I Look; Oliver Trevena, actor and host of Young Hollywood; actress Vanessa Hudgens, and many other notable figures.
